Udai Bhanu is a leading researcher at Nanoscience and Nano-Technology Center (NSTC), Orlando (USA ), which is equipped with state of the art facilities and working towards his PhD (since 2010) in Department of Physics, University of Central Florida (UCF). He has been working in Nanoelectronics Lab with Dr. Saiful Khondaker. He is also a member of American Physical society (APS) and Indian Microelectronics Society (IMS).
His current research focuses on electron transport in nano scale materials and devices. In addition to this he has also been involved in fabrication of nanodevices.
Before joining UCF, Udai Bhanu was an active member of a research team at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IITD) which was working on a cutting edge research project entitled as " Synthesis of aligned carbon Nano-tubes (CNT) and their field emission properties" funded by Department of Science and Technology (DST) , Govt. Of India. While working at IIT Delhi he witnessed the nanotechnology education in India and had attended various conferences all over the country. In early days of his career, he worked as R&D trainee and engineer (Nanotechnology) with corporate giant Godrej & Boyce Mfg.Co.Ltd. at Vikhroli, Mumbai.
Udai Bhanu has also earned a degree of Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Nanoscience & Nanotechnology from Panjab University, Chandigarh (India). In addition to this, he is a physicist by heart and possesses a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Physics.
In personal life, he is very calm and always seeks tranquility of mind. Having born in a middle class Punjabi Rajput family in Distt. Hoshiarpur, he spent his early childhood years in a small village "Hajipur", where he received his school education. After he finished his schooling, he had to move to city for higher studies.
